1. Information Handled on Your Device
C Camera may handle camera preview frames, photos and videos you choose to capture, optional microphone audio, app preferences, and optional diagnostics locally on your device.
Diagnostics may include device manufacturer and model, Android and app versions, build fingerprint, Camera2 and media-codec capabilities, active physical-camera identifiers exposed by Android, storage/battery/thermal status, and recent camera or recording error text.
2. Permissions
CAMERA is required for preview, photo capture, and video recording.
RECORD_AUDIO is optional and requested only when you enable video audio. Silent video remains available without it.
- C Camera does not request location, contacts, advertising identifiers, broad storage access, or notification permission.
3. Storage and Deletion
Photos and videos are published through Android MediaStore under DCIM/C Camera. They remain on your device until you delete them using a gallery, file-management app, or Android system tools.
Preferences are stored in private app storage. Application backup and device-transfer extraction are disabled. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes private preferences, but media in shared storage may remain until you delete it.
Diagnostics are not exported automatically. If you choose Export diagnostics, Android's system document picker lets you select the destination.
4. Network Access, Collection, and Sharing
C Camera declares no Internet permission and contains no account, advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, cloud-upload, or Cydelora backend feature. Cydelora does not collect or receive your photos, videos, audio, diagnostics, or preferences through the app.
C Camera does not sell user data. Information leaves the app only when you deliberately open, move, back up, or share media or an exported diagnostic file using another app or service. That destination's privacy policy then applies.
5. Security
C Camera uses Android scoped storage and system media APIs. Access to captured media is also governed by your device lock, Android permissions, and any other apps to which you grant media access. No local application can guarantee protection if the device or operating system is compromised.
6. Children's Privacy
C Camera is a general-purpose camera utility and is not specifically directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children because it does not transmit user data to Cydelora.
7. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when C Camera's behavior or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
